Dr. Dorothy Sonya hols a Doctorate in Dental Medicine, Master of Science and Diploma in Orthodontics from the University of Manitoba. Dr. Sonya is past-president of the Winnipeg Dental Specialists Society. She currently is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in Orthodontics, Fellow of the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia, Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, member of the Cleft Lip/Palate & Craniofacial team at Children's Hospital in Vancouver, Member of the Angle Society of Orthodontics and maintains a private orthodontic practice in White Rock, B.C.


Dr. Jay B.T. Nagamatsu - D.M.D., M.S., CERT. (ORTHO), F.R.C. (C), F.C.D.S. (BC), DIP. A.B.O.

Dr. Jay Nagamatsu is a graduate of Tufts University with his Doctorate in Dental Medicine. He completed his residency in orthodontics at Saint Louis University where he received his Certificate and Masters of Science degree. During his residency, he served as the president of his class and was a member of the Cleft Lip and Palate Team at Cardinal Glennon Hospital. Dr. Nagamatsu is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, Fellow of the College of Dental Surgeons of B.C., Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and maintains a private practice in White Rock, B.C.


Dr. Ellen Lee Colfer - D.D.S., M.SC., DIP. PERIO., F.R.C.D. (C), FC.D.S. (BC)

Dr. Colfer is a graduate of the University of Toronto with her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) and the University of British Columbia with a Masters of Science in Oral Biology & Specialty in Periodontics. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and the College of Dental Surgeons of British Colulmbia. She is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Canadian Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration and the BC Society of Periodontics. Dr. Colfer maintains a private practice in Periodontics and Implant Surgery in South Surrey, B.C. and is an assistant professor of Periodontics at the University of British Columbia.
